Objective
- At the request of the head office, the client had to switch to the Workday global HR system
- Problem of double data entry: the need to synchronise fields (by positions, structures, etc.) in the local and global systems
- Transition to Workday within 1 year
- Setting up integration between the local and global accounting systems
Solution
- Workday shelf solution has been implemented using private encryption keys and customised for the features of sharing with the client’s system
- Automatic exchange of personnel data between the local 1C ZUP 3.1 system and the global Workday system has been configured
- Start-up and commercial operation have been implemented in two phases. Phase 1 included launching the exchange on key HR processes (hiring, changes in position or salary, dismissals), and Phase 2 was dedicated to enabling the functions of making changes to personal and contact data, opening/closing sick leaves
- Local data were synchronised with global ones, and scenarios for comprehensive items were developed — organisational structure, types of accruals, etc.
Result
- 100% automation of HR data exchange between the local and global systems
- Configured centralised analytics for HR processes
- Elimination of risks of violating the labour legislation and the requirements for cross-border transfer of personal data (FZ-152) due to the scheme proposed by Unicon Outsourcing, where data are initially entered in 1C (a fine of up to RUB 18 million)
