For companies with more than 50 employees. You must have at least one full-time employee responsible for labor safety.

One-off labor safety

In case of violation of labor safety requirements resulting in serious harm to health, a person entrusted with the obligation to comply therewith may be subjected to the following types of criminal punishment:
- a fine of up to RUB 400 thousand or in the amount of the guilty person's income for a period of up to 18 months;
- compulsory work from 180 to 240 hours;
- correctional labour up to 2 years;
- forced labour up to 1 year;
- imprisonment up to 1 year with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to one year.
In case of violation of labor safety requirements resulting in death of an employee through negligence, the guilty person may be subjected to the following types of criminal punishment:
- forced labour up to 4 years;
- imprisonment up to 4 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.
In case of violation of labor safety requirements resulting in death of more than two people, the guilty person may be subjected to the following types of criminal punishment:
- forced labour up to 5 years;
- imprisonment up to 5 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.
Note. labor safety requirements are understood to mean state regulatory labor safety requirements contained in federal laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation, laws and other regulatory legal acts of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
