Objective:

Tailoring and unification of payroll calculation processes for all legal entities under the Schneider Electric group in 4 countries: Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.

Solution:

1. Transferring payroll calculation functionality from multiple systems into a unified accountancy system based on BOSS-Kadrovik software (in Russia and Ukraine), and on 1C software (in Kazakhstan and Belarus).
2. Outsourcing payroll calculation to Unicon Outsourcing.

Results:

• Payroll calculation for all legal entities of Schneider Electric in Russia and Ukraine is performed in BOSS-Kadrovik system.
• Unified regulations developed by Unicon Outsourcing experts and considering the legislation of each of the four countries are used for payroll calculation for the Schneider Electric employees in each country.
• In 18 months, the relevant functionality of all legal entities in Russia (with overall staff number of 12,000 people), Kazakhstan and Ukraine has been outsourced to Unicon Outsourcing. First companies in Russia, including a major manufacturing facility, have been transferred over the course of four months. Schneider Electric office in Belarus will join the project in a short term.
• Russian management of Schneider Electric  receives all required reports and takeouts from all Russia-based enterprises of the company. The customer’s employees may access the accountancy system, and review and download the data they require.
• A vast number of operations and report forms previously generated manually is fully automated.
• Unicon Outsourcing provides support to the customer’s databases and accountancy system. As necessary and required by the customer, Unicon Outsourcing’s IT experts set up additional functionality, algorithms and reports in BOSS-Kadrovik system.
• In 2015, Unicon Outsourcing was participating in the project for connecting the  companies of the Schneider Electric  group to the Social Insurance Fund’s pilot project for direct payout of benefits to employees. Unicon Outsourcing provides the required calculations for payout of the benefits and assists in solving the problems that may arise over the course of interaction between the Schneider Electric  employees and the Social Insurance Fund

Quantitative results:

• Monthly processing rate of payroll sheets for the Schneider Electric  Russia-based legal entities: around 12,000

• Upwards of 27,000 payments effected monthly to the customer’s employees.
