The employees of outsourcing division of BDO group in Russia have been invited to take part in development of single glossary of outsourcing terms which will be useful both to Clients of outsourcing companies and to service providers in order to share a common language.
The development of universal glossary which will combine terminology of IT-outsourcing providers with terminology of companies providing business processes outsourcing services was initiated by Russian division of the International association IAOP - IAOP Russia Chapter (International Association of Outsourcing Professionals), international company Accenture and Russian Association ASTRA. In November the second meeting of IAOP Russia Chapter took place in the office of Accenture. This meeting united the interests of both services’ providers and customers of outsourcing companies. The meeting was attended by the representatives of Accenture, BDO, Intercomp Global Services, Siemens LLC, Sibintek, Linfo Systems, Stins Coman, in4media/Forrester. The first meeting of IOAP Russia Chapter took place in July and was devoted to formation of practical tools for development of Russian outsourcing business.
Soon the members of the meeting plan to create a panel of experts for development of glossary and to organize the first working meetings. According to the opinion of participants of the event the development of a single glossary will help not only to establish unified terminology but will also give an opportunity to bring outsourcing business in Russia to the new development level. The President of NP ASTRA Sergei Makedonskiy considers, - It is necessary to create a single conceptual document to determine objectives of the Glossary and motivations of each member of the working group for Glossary development. – His colleagues from Stins Coman welcomed his suggestion and proposed to develop technical specifications for glossary development with objectives and motivations of participants.
At the end of the event the organizers informed the participants of the meeting that NP ASTRA and IAOP Russia Chapter will teach the first certified master class IAOP COP - Certified Outsourcing Professional.
