In November the outsourcing division of BDO in Russia and information resource Outsourcing.ru implement a joint project intended to promotion of outsourcing business in Russia.
On the invitation of Outsourcing.ru the outsourcing division of BDO joined in the publication of information digest devoted to outsourcing of business processes in Russia.
Earlier portal Outsourcing.ru published the results of research projects of BDO and IA “Rosbusinessconsulting” (RBC Rating) on study of demand for outsourcing of business processes services in Russian and foreign companies. After the publication of the results of this rating Outsourcing.ru and outsourcing division of BDO reached an agreement on joint actions intended to promotion ofmodern notions and tendencies in outsourcing business.
Outsourcing as a strategy of business management began to develop in Russia in the early 1990s when a number of foreign companies registered their representative offices and their legal entities in Russia entered the Russian market. Outsourcing of IT- and financial functions became the most common types of outsourcing for foreign representative offices. Russian companies generally outsourced to external contractors only not key and not crucial functions (security, cleaning, catering and others). Crucial but not key functions, such as IT, accounting, payroll preparation, HR management, legal support began to be outsourced to third party companies 10 years later. Nowadays the interest of business community in outsourcing of inner functions is deepening. To this effect the key market players organize alliances and increase efforts on popularization of outsourcing notions in Russia. The November number of digest is devoted to this topic.

The division is engaged in outsourcing of business processes in the Finance and Accounting sphere for companies with various forms of labour organization and organizational structures. We have the first prize in the nomination “Outsourcing of financial functions” in the frame of the first Russian national Prize “Business Atlantes” in the outsourcing sphere which was organized under the authority of International association of outsourcing professionals (IAOP).
