BDO group is in among the leaders in outsourcing sphere according to the results of business activity in 2009.
In January the outsourcing division of BDO group in Russia has received certificate of rating agency “Expert” that approves the results of rating in accounting functions outsourcing published in magazine “Expert” on December 6, 2010 (No 48, 2010). The certificate proves the new status of BDO as a company that is among leaders on the market of accounting functions outsourcing.
According to the results of business activity in 2009 audit and consulting group of companies BDO entered the list of the largest companies in outsourcing of accounting functions. The company’s revenue without internal business volume for a group of companies was taken as the main aspect for analyzing results. In general list of companies audit and consulting group of companies BDO took the second place with consolidated revenues in the amount of 351 930 thousand rubles. According to methods of RA “Expert” the rating was based on revenues from outsourcing of statutory and tax accounting, payroll, HR records and management, preparation of fiscal accounting as per Russian Accounting Standards and International Accounting Standards.
In the short term RA “Expert” starts the preparation of the next project “Russian audit and consulting” in which BDO will take part. Within the framework of this project the lists of the largest audit and consulting groups of Russia will be drawn up according to the results of business activity in 2010 and the leaders in separate lines of audit and consulting will be determined. These ratings will be published in March-May 2011. At the same time a research in the sphere of accounting functions outsourcing with identification of the largest companies of this sphere will be carried out.

- Accounting functions outsourcing rating was published by the magazine “Expert” for the first time, so business circles were keenly interested in its’ results. Rating is surely helpful for market players. It lets them not only analyze the results of their activities against the competitors but also analyze the activity of their competitors and realize at the expense of what these companies increased their revenues. For companies that are not members of outsourcing market but that use outsourcing in their everyday practice - it was a possibility to choose a provider basing on objective data. Anyway occurrence of such rating shows high degree of outsourcing market maturity in Russia.
