On June 10, 2010 Trade and Industry Chamber of France organized a business lunch about “What do you need to know about transfer or outsourcing?” in the Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya Hotel.
Specialists of BDO Russia Outsourcing department: Mr. Kovalenko Dmitry –Director of Accounting Practices Department; Mrs. Yupashevskaya Zulfiya – Deputy Director of Transaction Services Department; Mrs. Tambovtseva Tatyana – Head of Business Development Department; Mrs. Timofeeva Julia – Head of Marketing Department and BDO clients “Union Business Service” – financial managers of two international companies - one working in biotechnology and the other – a world leader in IT field made a joint presentation.
The CCIFR business lunch was held in English and was of public nature. Participants discussed issues connected to the process of making a decision to transfer to outsourcing, to a possibility to consider all “pro” and “contra” and the main stages of transfer to outsourcing. How one can provide continuity of business-processes during transfer of internal processes for outsourcing? How one can save 15% during transfer of function to a provider? Which types of companies are interested in accounting and personnel keeping outsourcing and why?
With an example of affiliated company a member of Toyota Material Handling Europe AB Group, specialists of BDO Outsourcing Department considered the process of personnel audit in a company, transfer of employees form one office to another after reorganization of a company and told about successful way of performing the functions on personnel record keeping and payroll accounting.
25 persons attended the lunch. After specialists of our company finished their presentation participants of the lunch had an opportunity to ask our colleagues questions in informal setting and exchange experience. All participants of the lunch were invited for taking part in the joint project of BDO Outsourcing Department and RBC.Rating, intended for studying of popularity of transfer of internal functions in foreign representative offices in Russia for outsourcing.

- Today they often compare development of outsourcing in Western countries and in Russia. Of course, strategy of business-processes outsourcing development in the USA and in our country is principally different. In United States outsourcing of IT infrastructure was actively developing, in Russia, where internet-technologies were not developed as much, transfer of security, logistic functions and cleaning for outsourcing was popular. De the way our study with RBC confirmed the results. Nevertheless today more and more Russian companies begin to realize attractiveness of the transfer of accounting functions for outsourcing. Depending on the size of business, companies transfer for outsourcing accounting as a whole, separate parts of accounting, payroll accounting, personnel record keeping and personnel administration. The main advantage of outsourcing as a strategy is opportunity to reduce costs in effective way that is equally effective for Russian and foreign companies.
