On March 25, BDO Unicon Outsourcing and FM Logistic held a joint webinar titled Transition to Workday: From Theory to Practice. During the event, Inna Perelet, HR Project Manager at FM Logistic, and Nadezhda Massel, Head of Project Office at BDO Unicon Outsourcing, spoke about the key stages of transition to the system, challenges that may arise during implementation and ways to cope with them, appropriate approach to building the project team, Russian legislative peculiarities to be taken into account, and progress with the adjustment of automated data exchange between 1C and Workday. 60 participants joined in the webcast.
Transition to Workday still involves a number of complications for Russian companies: time constraints, Russian legal restrictions, problems with building the project team, etc. Based on their own experience, BDO Unicon Outsourcing and FM Logistic decided to hold a training event for HR professionals and respond to the questions most frequently asked by the companies planning to implement this system and companies that have already launched the transition to Workday and encountered problems.
Previously, BDO Unicon Outsourcing used to hold personal meetings where other companies could share their experience with the implementation of the system. The organizers chose to join efforts and systematize the information in a new online format. The survey results demonstrate that all participants had a very high opinion of the speakers’ presentations and of the opportunity to take part in the event from a remote location. BDO is planning to organize new meetings for the Workday community in Russia shortly. Monitor the website and listserv for announcements.
