Clerk. Today the concept of outsourcing is enthusiastically discussed by businessmen and in public media. On the one hand, advantages from transition to outsourcing seem apparent as the company focuses on addressing its core business objectives and reduces operating costs, on the other hand, the principal question for the client is credibility of a service provider.

The Moscow Times. In business practice we are quite used to outsource cleaning, security, delivery, catering, and make decision about outsourcing without long disputes. All mentioned here functions are non-core and non-critical for the business. That is why they are first candidates for outsourcing. European and American economies moved further in outsourcing habits and actively outsource functions, which are non-core, but critical.

In February BDO Outsourcing Division in Russia together with its partners from “Ecopsy Consulting” – a company rendering consulting services in organizational effectiveness and personnel management held the first seminar for wide range of specialists on standardization and optimization of processes in accounting department: choice of methods and approaches.

Servicing of several large projects was transferred to the new accounting center in Voronezh. At the same time the main coordination center on providing services to clients of BDO Outsourcing Division in Russia is located in Moscow.

Within 3.5 months specialists of BDO Outsourcing Division in Russia using in-depth interview and questionnaires conducted a public opinion survey among financial managers of Russian and foreign companies. The selection included more than 3500 companies among which 200 companies of large business, 1700 enterprises of small and medium-size business, 500 companies of banking and insurance sector and around 1000 representative offices of foreign companies in Russia
