BDO specialists participated in The Moscow Times conference
In general two opinions were presented on the conference – of foreign executives who have achieved success in Russia and of leading Russian executives on the topic “When business geography is very large. Organizational structure and communications”.
During the first part of the conference a special guest Stuart Lawson, consultant, lecturer in Moscow school of Management SKOLKOVO (risk management module), former CEO of HSBS in Russia up to June 2010 held a speech. He described the peculiarities of running business in Russia, from the point of view of a foreign entrepreneur. He specified the main possibilities and faults that should be taken into account when planning business processes.
The second part of the conference was held in the form of discussion in which the following representatives participated - Nikolay Nikolenko, first deputy chairman, Russian Insurance centre; Emilia Garsia, senior vice-president corporate management, managing director of production association, Rostiks group; Vyacheslav Vorobyov, the General Deputy President – Chairman of Board, Director of division of VTB24 network; Boris Bobrovnikov, the General Director of CROC; Hannes Chopra, head of Allianz Eurasia, CEO of ROSNO; Madina Suyunova, strategy director, Russian JSC Eastern energy systems; Sergei Khomyakov, general director of Polycom in Russia and CIS countries. They discussed principles of effective business organization in regions, ways of controlling such businesses, effective communications creation, as well as risks that appear if you have a large network of branches.
