BDO Unicon Outsourcing Ranks in the Top 3 of RA Expert Ratings

BDO Unicon Outsourcing has once again made it to the top of accountancy outsourcers ranking by RA Expert. This year the fight for the first place was as fierce as never before. The companies from the first two lines on the list, BDO and Intercomp, have shown annual turnover exceeding 1 billion rubles, while the next closest competitor has only surpassed the 500 million mark.

This year, BDO Unicon Outsourcing has increased its revenue from business process outsourcing from 41.3% (in 2015) to 66.7%, partially due to natural growth, and partially due to improvement of its accountancy methodology.

“Prior to 2016, we classified revenue from a project per services. For instance, within the same contract for payroll calculation and HR administration, we assessed accountants, 1C support, courier and archive services separately. However, in fact it’s all the same project. This year, we decided to assess services for the same project collectively. This analysis method seems the most appropriate to us. Outsourcing today is always a complex structure of consulting and analysis of business processes and support of a particular function, be it accountancy, IT support or HR administration, and one just can’t ignore it,” says Lyudmila Shusterova, BDO Unicon Outsourcing’s director for strategic development. “Outsourcing is becoming more and more technological, and we pay close attention to the development of expertise in IT systems for accounting. The last year was remarkable due to launches of lots of new projects in online services for our customers’ employees, and we plan to keep working in this area in 2017 as well.”
