A regular meeting of Workday working group took place in Moscow on June 27. Representatives of Groupe Renault and Puma described their experience of implementing the system. More than 50 people took part in the event.
During the meeting, Artem Ilyushenko, HR Project Coordinator, Groupe Renault, described specifics of data integration between Workday and SAP systems. According to Artem, due to present-day realities, capabilities of the system in Russia are very limited. Therefore, posting/copying of data as well as reporting for the global office become the principal mission of Workday in he Russian Federation. In the near future, Groupe Renault plans to set up Talents and Recruitment modules.
Kim Altyshev, Puma Retail Network Operations Director, descried integrated implementation of the system and the main stages of the project: planning, architecture, configuration, testing, as well as deployment. Besides, Kim shared methods to motivate employees and fight resistance.
“Now, many international companies are using Workday system in Russia. However, absence of the product representatives in Russia and various realities of business complicate the process of implementation. I am very glad that together with Inna Perelet, PEPS Project manager, FM Logistic, we have managed to create a Workday community with trust relations between participants who are ready to share their problems, knowledge, and experience,” said Lyudmila Shusterova, Deputy Director General for Strategic Development.
“A famous phrase “knowledge is power” can become a motto in implementation of Workday. When you know the product, its capabilities, the way the implementation process usually takes place, it is possible to save a lot of effort and resources. It was the search for knowledge about the system and for experience of its implementation in our Russian realities that prompted us several years ago to create the Workday community in Russia as a platform to share experience. On the surface it seems that all companies have different ways of everything, but once we started talking to each other we found much in common. Experience of the ones who have already gone through the implementation process helps those who are just starting their way to avoid mistakes. The community is growing, and this makes us glad. It makes us glad that we are ready to share our experience with each other openly,” emphasised Inna Perelet, PEPS Project manager, FM Logistic.
