On February 6, at the general meeting, the board of directors of the ASTRA outsourcing association made Sergei Tiunov, General Director of the BDO outsourcing division, one of its members.
ASTRA is a non-commercial partnership whose purpose is developing outsourcing in Russia and other CIS members and promoting world experiences, ideas and technologies on local markets. In our country, ASTRA represents the interests of IAOP (International Association of Outsourcing Professionals), one of the largest international organizations engaged in outsourcing. IAOP members include 110000 individuals as well as BPO and ITO service providers operating in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Americas.
ASTRA also supervises the functioning of the Russian IAOP committee, the so-called IAOP Russia Chapter.
The BDO company joined ASTRA in 2011. During the same year, Sergei Tiunov was elected a co-chairman of the IAOP Russia Chapter.
Sergei Tiunov said, "I am grateful to my colleagues for their confidence in me. ASTRA members include Russian companies leading on the market of outsourcing. Their recognition is very important to me and the whole BDO company".
