Why did we choose to make a textbook?
Any sort of cooperation with providers, including cooperation under the outsourcing model, comprises a set of specific procedures, standards, and algorithms required for success. To date, Russian companies have already accumulated sufficient experience in this field and created the best practices they are willing to share.
Who is the textbook designed for?
For all the outsourcing participants – consumers, providers, and those who are not using outsourcing yet, but are willing to figure out how it should be managed.
Why do we need a Russian textbook? There are numerous excellent textbooks on outsourcing abroad.
For instance, OPBOOK prepared by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP). Foreign textbooks will definitely serve as the basis for the new book. However, the Russian market has certain specific features and legal peculiarities that certainly affect the management of outsourcing projects. The objective of the authors is to demonstrate the Russian cases, describe the deals closed in Russia, and provide the templates of local documents.
